How Our Mitchelton Team Works With You
Our Mitchelton disability employment services team engages closely with participants through a participant-centred approach. This approach is based on the belief that everyone’s journey to employment is unique and thus requires tailored solutions.
We Get to Know and Understand DES Participants
Right from the start, our skilled and qualified Disability Employment Advocates start a detailed consultation with each participant. This process helps us learn the participant’s strengths, abilities, present skill set, potential skills, and employment aspirations. This understanding forms the foundation of the customised job plan.
We Maintain Open Two-Way Communication
We are committed to maintaining ongoing, open communication, marked by respect and empathy. Participants are continuously consulted and included in the decision-making process regarding their employment plan. As participants progress, our disability employment services evolve, ensuring that we are always aligned with each participant’s goals.
We Help Provide Opportunities Based on Your Potential
Our strategy centres on leveraging your strengths and abilities, as well as recognising your potential. This focus allows us to offer the most appropriate, individualised support, ranging from job-readiness training and resume preparation to connecting with potential employers. Following placement, we offer up to 52 weeks of on-the-job support after you begin your new role.
TURSA collaborates with participants every step of the way, supplying the necessary guidance, resources, and support to achieve their employment objectives. The journey with our participants is characterised by dignity, respect, and mutual cooperation, mirroring our dedication to empowering participants towards success.
