The Role: ICT Support Assistant
TURSA is seeking to employ an appropriately qualified and suitably experienced person to provide ICT support services to staff and management.
The role is a full-time, 1 year fixed-term contract (with opportunity to possibly extend).
Based in Tweed Heads, NSW, the TURSA Management Centre is just minutes’ walk from the iconic Coolangatta Beach in an area offering excellent year-round weather and easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, medical centres, clubs, transport, parklands, walking tracks, waterways and beaches.
The ICT Support Assistant will be required to carry out tasks including:
- Provide first level ICT support to staff and management relating to any problems with TURSA’s hardware and software.
- Accurately diagnosing, recording, prioritising, allocating and managing incoming requests for ICT service.

Your skills and strengths;
- Previous experience in a similar ICT support role or Helpdesk environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills along with demonstrable understanding of mobile technologies, Surface Pro laptops, printers and peripheral hardware
- Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, the Azure administration portal for desktop support
- A demonstrated strong customer service focus with the ability to prioritise whilst working in a fast paced environment
- The ability to learn new material and solve technical problems quickly and explain the resolution clearly to staff and management both verbally and in writing
- Minimum Cert III level qualifications in ICT
- Current drivers license
Please note that flexibility to travel is a requirement of this role with the potential of occasional overnight stays within TURSA‘s area of operations.
